Tell us what you imagine ↗

Less friction. More feline.

For the hands-on.
And the already-done.

Two ways we’re imagining the same good thing: more room for your cat to be a cat.

01 —

Let us put it together.

Planned preassembled options for people who would rather skip the build. The aim is fewer loose parts, less guesswork, and an easier start.

02 —

Make it yours, piece by piece.

Planned DIY kits for people who enjoy the process. Clear steps and accessible instructions are part of the idea from day one.

Both options are still in development. Preassembly and wall installation are different; any future wall-mounted design would need its own mounting guidance.

Accessibility is part of the idea.

A clear path.
More ways to follow it.

We want blind and low-vision cat lovers to have more choice in how they assemble and enjoy their cat furniture.

  • 01Braille instructions, plannedTactile instructions developed with feedback from people who read Braille.
  • 02Instructions beyond picturesWe’re exploring clear text, audio guidance, and parts that are easier to identify by touch.
  • 03Built with your perspectiveTell us what makes an assembly experience work for you. Your feedback can help shape the idea.

This site uses keyboard-friendly controls and text descriptions. Product accessibility features are still being explored.

Big ideas.
Small pawprints.

This is the beginning of The Climbing Kitty. If the idea speaks to you — as a cat lover, a DIY enthusiast, or someone with accessibility insight — we’d love to hear it.

A few things to know.

Can I order something now?

Not yet. The Climbing Kitty is an early-stage project. The illustrations are concepts, and there are no products, prices, or orders available at this stage.

Are the Braille instructions ready?

Not yet. Braille and other accessible instruction formats are a central goal. They still need development, review, and feedback from blind and low-vision users before we can offer them.

Can I use the sketches as building plans?

These illustrations are inspiration, not technical plans. Materials, mounting methods, dimensions, and load limits have not been finalized or tested.

How can I get involved?

Email theclimbingkitty@gmail.com with your ideas, accessibility feedback, or interest in the project. There is no automated mailing list or promised launch date.
